Hey everyone I've been a member for a little more than a month and more of a lurker. I'm looking for a good deal on a Weber Rancher grill if anyone has one or knows where I could get one please let me know! I've been Dutch oven cooking/catering for over 15 years and love it! I love cooking low and slow even better and have been doing it for quite a while in my Weber 22" using indirect heat, although I cant do a lot this way since it still gets pretty hot (250 to 275) someday my wife will let me get a small offset on a trailer to go with my Dutch ovens. She thinks that I have to many Dutch ovens (60+) I love cooking and am retired from the food service but still love outdoor cooking of all types. To that little intro I say "HELLO"!

Hi Dave and welcome to SMF! You could always pick up an ECB for the small change in your change jar, and use that to impress the wife enough to change her mind on a bigger rig :{)

Welcome to the SMF, you're gonna be in good company along with smokers, grillers, hobbyist, ans D.O. folks too! Looking forward to your cookin' stories, and Q View too!

Hello Dave, thats a fair amount of cast iron you have! Welcome to the world of smoking! Wives are hard to convince sometimes, feed her well and get her involved, maybe that new toy will be a reality!
