Hijacked ham

    My wife has a ham in the freezer. The label says it is a super trim, hickory smoked bone in butt half. My question is , is the type of butt to use for pulled pork or not. If Im going to hijack her meat I want to make sure it is the right choice. Never done a butt before.

    sure, ya can pull a ham butt. what i do is foil tent it & heat @ 225-250 for a few hrs w/ just a bit of water (time depends on the size). check it @ about 3 hrs- if the bone pulls-the meat will pull.
