Hi there, I'm Blargh!

I joined last year but due to a little one running around the place, have had little time to devote to smoking meats and getting myself situated on the boards here.  Well tonight is as good as any to get started.  

I currently own a Brinkman  electric smoker.  I know, I know. But a wood burning smoker with my HOA is bad news. It does the trick when I need it to and hasn't failed me yet.  As of late I've made pulled pork in it once or twice, and have really gotten the knack for making some homemade burgers and smoking them bad boys nice.  

I got into smoking due to my fathers influence who is also a member here by the name of Tiki Guy.  He's been helping me get ready for this weekend as I'm smoking about 12 pounds worth of brisket for a friends BBQ on Monday.  I plan to post some pictures as I progress.   

That's all for now I suppose. Hopefully I'll have a nice Qvue to share in a day or two.

I gave the rules a quick read.  Seems simple enough for me.  I'll check out the 5 day course after this weekend.  Pretty excited about getting my hands dirty.  Thanks for the welcomes.
