hi. as you have guessed i am new around these parts. main reason for joining the forum is advice/ design help on a new smoker, and new recipes for tasty smoked meat treats. I have been a smoking meats off and on for a few years. i have used electric smokers, those store bought brinkman smokers, and pipe smokers. I recently acquired about 20' of 20''X3/8 thick pipe that i plan on building a smoker out of. Please dont flame me to bad for all the newbie questions and ideas for a smoker.
