I bet you did not see the ship that got stuck in the icy couple weeks ago! Was the environmental nuts studing the cause of Artic melt down. Global Warming causing all this low tempatures. We can'r win can we? Question, make I'm put the car ahead of the Oxis, but what it is the lowest temp. that you can safely do any kind of meat smoking, curing, if you have a wood frame smoke house, like some that I see here? I have no clue about smoke house, just to get an idea, considerin bee in the Northeast. Thanks! By the wsy GaryH, don't bit yourself to death about fhe new property, look at me? From 120ºF to -5ºF., that it is a stretch! From be stuck in mud to slidind on icy.But it is reward for the sacrifices, beutiful wife and four kids, plus been here talking to you guys in total diffe r ent linguage.

Hello Humdinger, thank you! My wife is American, (Inglish, Italian, Germany) just to be clear. She said that I go around and around, when I talk, so I guess same as when I write. Been a immigrant, I always have the impresion that if I don't over explain myself, they don't get it. Goes with the territorie. Also sorry for the bad spelling, and grammars formation. Blumberg, left, we got a realy nice guy. The people that leave in the City desarves him.LOL! Gary, don't get me wrong, but I take heat anytime, I lived on the country side, lots mountains, and if you got shade it's like air conditioning, lots cool breeze. Hey, glad we can make you feel at home! And do not apologize for being able to speak two languages! That is a gift and more than most people can do. I know some people who have been speaking English their whole lives, and your English is better than theirs! HAHA....... Heck I myself have had 4 years of German in school and still can't hold a decent conversation with someone.

I was there in the very early stages, i worked for a company who did the retaining walls. We had a special attachment that went on a crane boom so we could dig strait  down. We would dig down about 100' +- while we were digging kept the shaft full of drilling mud, when we were deep enough we dropped in the steel reinforcing (just a re-bar cage) then would use a tremmy shut and start pouring in concrete while at the same time pumping out the drilling mud. This was done on both sides at various locations to keep existing buildings from having foundation damage. one all this was done excavation between the walls was started. at various places in the walls were openings for ty-backs .  If any of this makes sense.
