I wasn't quite sure what to start with. I will probably start with something that if I ruin it won't be losing me tons of money and then as I get a little better I will move up. I'm also looking into some mods to make to my setup a little better. I understand that I won't be able to buy a several thousand dollar smoker. At least not until I get out of college and then we'll talk lol. I did sign up for the e-course so I am learning quite a bit already.

Chicken is a good start but then so is a Pork Butt or even a Fatty. Or better yet put all 3 on and that way you can snack all day while you wait on the butt.
