Elk jap sticks w/ jap cheese heavy qview

    this is 25 lbs had some great help, those sticks are 4ft long ready to go to the smoker. we mixed and stuffed last night and put in reefer overnight, they are now hanging at room temp for 1-2hrs then they will hit the smoker, more pics to come. Happy easter everyone.

  4. Great to see you have some helpers!  I need to find me a few of them now and then to help with the cooking and yard work one of these days.  Keep us posted of how the sticks come out!

    Thanks, ya that in the pic is my buddy and his kids, his kids came out from PA for spring break, It was great to see them, boy they grow fast.

    AJ, they came out great but for some reason my computer wont accept my pics and tapatalk is down i will try to reload - They turned out great....

    Those look awesome DS, need to try that when I get the rest of the sausage making supplies I need.... My new adventure ! This site has created many new hobbies for me ! Haha. Putting company to work, why haven't I thought of that.... LOL

    Yes these turned out great, did a Hicory smoke on them with the Amps Hung at 130* for 2hrs, then bumped up 10* each hour till smoker temp was at 170 and cooked till IT was 152,, pulled, and let bloom on table for two hrs then into paper sack for happy time overnight in fridge. These kids had a great time and I really enjoyed them. We will be doing alot more this summer when they come back to see their Dad. 



    And some darts after words - They had fun and beat the ol men.

    What did you smoke them in?  That looks like an old BBQ.  I ask because I don't have a real smoker, so always looking at what others use.

    Lips, sorry to take so long of a reply, I started the amps on the bbq, but I have a fridge smoker that I smoked them in.
