Hey guys, been a lurker for a couple of weeks. I'm your standard backyard grill fanatic that was tired of pulling off the expanded metal cooking surface (with food still on it) to throw in some fresh soaked mesquite chips. Just didn't know there were so may choices out there. After researching to the point of doing nothing at all I bought a used grill/smoker from a friend I work with. He has 3 or 4 grill/smokers and said this was too big for just him and his wife (he likes his green egg). Anyway, he sold me a "super cajun grill" with firebox attachment for $300. He said he used it once (looks like new). What now? I want to fire it up...but any tips other than a good cleaning? Seasoning ? Anybody have one of these things? Thanks for any and all advice!
