I'm very fond of South Carolina style mustard BBQ sauce. I found a couple of simple recipes that show some promise of being pretty good. Can sauces, especially those with brown sugar as an ingredient, be safely canned?

Thanks, fellas.

Sure can. Between the vinegar in the mustard & the vinegar u add should not be a problem. Make sure ur sauce is hot plus warm jars (pints). Then hot water bath for 20 minutes

Any sauces I make never last long enough to be canned....

But then, I usually just doctor ready made BBQ sauce.
