Hi ya'll I'm new to this forum but I been on a gas grill for 20 yrs. Graduated to a weber kettle last yr and started smoking w/slow'n'sear. Doing good but I want to get an offset and perfect smoking on an old NB Black Diamond. This guy wants $145 for it and has been refurbishing it & I'm wondering if it's worth it. Here are some pics I got so far. What do ya'll think?

I don’t think thats a value at $145.00
I have the same smoker that was gifted to me for nothing. I had to make mods to make it run right. I lowered the firebox, installed tuning plates and relocated the exhaust to the end adding a plenum and a larger and longer stack. It cooks well but I sure wouldn’t have payed much if anything for it. Maybe 50 bucks tops.

Yep start at $50 and if they try to shift higher pull a Hunky Blue and offer $40 and I don't go higher
The grates appear avoided in the photos. what is the condition? I don't care if the wheels are new
