MY temps would be real hard to keep stable on my new GOSM run good for a bit then jump up etc.
found a bag of Lave rocks I never used put them in a square grill pan wok like this one shown below, fits perfect on the rack that holds the wood cup. I just put my wood on top of the rocks burned great and the temp stayed pretty much within 10 degrees the whole time at least so far on my test run making some chicken quarters. just wondering if anyone else has tried this method in there GOSM ??
