Aloha My name is Kauhi I am from Oahu HI, I am currently using a Brinkman charcoal vertical smoker which I have already mastered. I am now in the process of building me a old gym locker smoker which is in the baby stages as of now. This site is the bomb alot of info and alot of Kool members that help to answer all my questions that I may have.

Welcome Welcome. Glad you joined the forum. I was just reading your post on your locker build. Keep us posted and post some pics if you are able to. We love to see pictures of your smoker builds or your cooking or aka Qview.
 
Aloha Kauhi, and welcome to SMF. I've read here about lots of builds but I don't recall seeing anything about using a gym locker for a smoker. At least since I've joined, anyway.

First off welcome Kauhi to SMF. It sounds like you are well on your way to be an outstanding new member of this fine site. You'll like it here cause there are abunch of good folks here that would just love to help you out with just about anything to do with smoking. We really like to have newbies here because they can bring in a new propective to how things are done. There's nothing like a new set of eyes to give and new way to make things that little differant to make things alittle better. So I hope you know about the Qview here.

It's also free and it will give you the basics of smoking. So after all of that you just need to go grab something to smoke and if you have any question just post them here and we will answer it quickly so you don't have any mishaps with your smoke.
