pork butt taking longer .......

i smoked the butt till it was 165, then wrapped and put in oven at 225 until 200 degrees. but... i let it go to 208! i wrapped in towel in cooler. i was going to let it sit there for 2 or so hrs then pull.

will i be fine with getting to 208 degrees with it not being overdone??

I have un-intentionaly gone to 210 with no issues. Should be fine.

You should be fine I always tak mine to 200 or 205 so whats a couple of degrees it's not like you went to 125 or something.

Like everyone said, you'll be fine with 208.
