well after reading all the posts and seeing all the good q-view and getting rained out on opening day of riffle season 6 hrs in the rain is enough for me i stoped and picked up a pork loin for $1.59 a # had them cut it in 2 pieces weighing each piece for me so i knew how much cure to use well here is the first piece 3# just a plain cure tenderquick and brown sugar figured id try this before adding my own stuff will post again in 7-10 days .lol
 
You mean we have to wait..... I don't like to wait....are we there yet??

Good luck on the Bacon and on the next sunny day deer hunt.

Note: All bacon up here in the great white north is Canadian bacon.

Ok well here it is didnt get picks before slicing but man this stuff is good also smoked a pastrami since i had the room yummy
