Back Yard Structures

Hello all... I'm new to the forum. Been smoking a few months mostly with a bandera. Been doing it long enough to know I really enjoy it and plan to buy a new smoker soon. Been considering a Spicewine or Backwoods.Am also thinking about a nice gasser to accompany it. What I would to know or see pics of is some of your grillin'/smokin'/entertainment structures at your homes. I'd like to build a nice permanent backyard structure to protect my new smokers and am fishing for ideas. Thanks!

Hello and welcome to the SMF. Sounds like you're fired up about one of our favorite hobbies. You'll have good feedback real soon with plenty of ideas. BTW, I moved this thread to roll call so that everyone can give you a warm welcome.

Welcome to the SMF, I have been thinking about building a small wind shelter for my Gasser Kettle. Still not sure if I am going to or not. I need some kind of shelter or the wind will keep me from smoking a whole lot of days.

If you do build something be sure to post some pics of it.

Welcome in, Paw. Either smoker you're considering are good ones (but I prefer the Backwoods)!

Good luck with your selection!

Welcome,Plyar. I'm just down the road in Georgetown. Can't help with a structure. I smoke just outside the garage where I can retreat under the overhang if it starts to rain. Put wheels on it. BassPro in North Myrtle Beach still has the hard to find GOSM smokers. I got a BigBlock there and it's great.
