I have been reading this forum for sometime now and have taken several tips to help make my cooking more consistent – thanks everyone for sharing. I am originally from North West Alabama, but currently reside in East Tennessee, about 15 minutes from the National Park. I am currently cooking on a Cimarron Deluxe, but have enough other cookers and grills to make the wife real mad every time we walk into a store, that the first place I go. I have been cooking BBQ for several years and we have entered 1 local competition. We would like to get a larger cooker and enter more, however no more than 4-5/year.
