just gettin back into smoke land....here did alotta smokin back back in the late teens to early 20's mostly family induced..loved it grew out of it , job , hobbies and what not.....and then i started doing jerky in a dehyd... was good but missing a lil suntin.....the liquid smoke just wasnt doin it...i needed that back int the day flavor......so here i am i been smokin stuff on the grill for a while alter heat chip's in a pan .....i am now restarting a passion long ago lived.....i got a brink...verticle i seasoned it then realized the whole coal bowl thing is poop !! went to my local metal fab shop.....got a nice steel perfor..holey piece of steel.....to refab the coal holster , this is gonna help with the coal's drowned in ash deal...my maiden voyage was to smoke the heck outa chuck roast , then the weather here went to hell....so i did the marinated roast in the oven but put the liquid bowl under it and tried a low and slow in the indoor stove....came out pretty good....but missing the flavor....i have just joined this forum but have serf'd it for a few month's and it's too cool .i plan to break out what i knew of for trade of what i have learned here....
hope you guy's and gal's alike are lookin to re-smoke a memory or a few hundred......i plan to bring my vegg knowledge to the plate , cause we did alot of side's b.i.t.d. squash , bean's potted and not , mater's , and cuke's too.......thank's for the invite and i hope i can bring enough to this table...
