For years we have used Snow's Clam Chowder as a base in conjunction with their minced and diced clams. Sadly, it is my understanding that Snow's doesn't make the Chowder anymore

. This stuff goes back to what my Grandmother used as well.

So, anyone have a suggestion as to a substitute of if I can still find Snow's anywhere? Out local grocer said it is no longer available.

I know there are some great homemade recipes out there and I have even tried some. However, I'm looking for something like Snow's as a stock/base.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks, that did the trick!!

I did a Google search and missed it somehow. Thanks again!

LOL, same site I googled for you on the FS forum. Looks like you could use some good Google lessons.

Maybe its those tall mountains in Colorado interfering with those dang satellites.

Yeah, I know. The problem was is that I searched under "Snow's Clam Chowder" and a lot of stuff comes up but not where I can buy it.

The key was to throw "New England" in the search phrase as in "Snow's New England Clam Chowder" and it gives the link that you gave me on FS and the same link I got here. But, I'm obviously telling you something you and others already know. Be nice or no more help with the peppers, LOL.

So, beers for both as I ordered 12 cans of the condensed and should be good to go for awhile.
