I'm  a steelworker,, I work  for nucor  steel, we melt  down scrap steel and make angle, rounds, channel, ect...work around 1800-2000 degree  steel everyday -summer

and winter,,- just turned 59 retirement around

the corner,, been  with  them  for 33 years,, as longs as i keep love'in going into  work I'll  keep on  working,,,
 
I setup, install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair Automatic Tool Dispensing machines for a company called Iscar. We manufacture carbide cutting tools for all types of industries worldwide. I too am disabled.

Wear two knee braces and have to use a cane or walker to get around

SO what do I do?

Whatever my body allows me to do from day to day

I have not worked in over two years

and when I did work I did everything from humpin 75 pound bundles of shingles at a roofing supply company, to working an outdoor warehouse for the Verizon FIOS project, to my last job which was Garden Center Specialist at a big box store

Used to be an avid flower gardener,now the teacher of BF as far as veggies,

domesticated duties when I feel like it (I hate to wash dishes)

And pretty much just try like heellll to keep from fallin down/hurting myself

*shrugs*
 
I am a Field Compliance Officer for a private ambulance company in Northern california. Basically I make sure the field crews are following Federal, State, and Local law...... used to be in the field as an EMT for about 10 years, back injury and then dispatched.
 
I have sold insurance for 5 years and work a perfect Mon - Fri 7am - 4pm shift.  Weekends are spent with my 3 sons and wife and when we get a chance Dad is smoking something in the backyard and playing with the baseball with the kids...
