My bubba grills RF 250 ribbox was delivered today. What a great looking cooker.

Got her seasoning now. Temps left to right are within a couple*. Top grate is higher by about 30*.

This is my first stick burner, so I've got a lot to learn.

Door therms are closer to the actual temp then I expected

This is fire box side bottom rack.

This is far side . White therm is top grate.

Welcome to the world of stick burning. What kind of wood do you have locally that you plan to source?

That is a nice smoker. Is it a reverse flow?

Thanks. Yes it is.

Here in upstate New York, we're blessed with a host of hardwoods. I've got easy access to maple, oak, hickory, cherry, apple that i can cut from several propertys.

I cut and split about a 1/3 cord of mostly cherry and some maple a few weeks ago when i ordered the smoker. Buddy of mine has a tree removal business, and hes putting some dead stuff aside for me also.

Very nice, spray it down with some oil, break thet baby in ... show us some bbq

Cograts, it's a great looking smoker! What's up first?
Going to toss some chicken legs, ribs and maybe a pork belly on her later this week. First big cook is a whole hog Sept 9th.

She's all seasoned and ready to roll. Thumbs Up

What a lucky guy you are!

For your first stick burner that is a beast!

Can't wait to see it in action!

Thanks Al.

Got a pork belly, brisket, and some chicken going on tomorrow morning. Forgot to take the brisket out of the freezer till this morning, so I'm hoping it's thawed enough by morning.
