We had some friends over for 4th of July dinner. A week ago Safeway had prime rib on sale, $4.77/pound, normally $12.99. I picked up three nice roasts. Vac packed two and froze. This one I marinated in Worcestershire over night. Rubbed with SPOG. Sandwiched the roast between the OctoForks and gave it a spin in the minitisserie over Kingsford professional. Wife made tater salad and I made desert:

Thanks Bear! The prime rib turned out great! Perfect cook on it. Bonus is I cut the bones off prior to carving so I will have some gnawing to do!

Thanks Adam. It was a great meal.

I'll use briquettes or lump. I got some Kingsford professional on sale so that is what I used this go around.

That is a perfectly cooked PR!

Of course I wouldn't expect anything less from you!

Very nicely done!

Point!
