I have frequented this forum for many years getting tips and insight from all the wonderful members.
I spent the last 7 years offset smoking on a 18" Weber kettle, many a first and lots of wonderful meats. For the past 6 months I was without a gorillas we were selling our home. However this fathersday after moving I was allowed to buy a quality smoker and propane grill pictured bellow. I opted for the Weber Genisis II SE-410 either the stainless grill grates and flavorizers for propane as its super hot in our area of Texas and I don't like using the oven. The stick burner is a Lyfe Tyme 20"X40" offset with a direct heat option on fire box. I am seasoning smoker and will try my first Texas brisket on July 4th. Grill was broke in on ribeye and ny strips with bacon wrapped fresh caught gulf shrimp. Looking forward to more smoking and sharing.
