Picked up this smoker today. It was built in Houston by Texas pits. I wish it had a side firebox but I will be adding one soon. Smaller cooking chamber but it's solid and all welded. I think it was a good score.
Looks promising, you could do s lot with that. It seems to be well made, what's that hardware on the intake?
My offset has a similar cooking surface and lately I've been playing at running it as a direct instead of running the firebox. I can either move the racks over to the fire end for more of a grilling action, or slide them over to the cooler exhaust side for slower smoking.
