 I wasn't able to open your link, can you tell us a little more about your smoker build, are you trying to copy a specific type smoker? Are you able to post any pics of your build for us, that to also helps with more input from others. 

Lots of great information on this SMF with knowledgeable members who are willing to jump in and help you with your question or get you pointed in the right direction.

I really liked a smoker a guy on here by Dockman built. was going to build similar to that adding my own touches. I'll try and get some pics loaded soon. I hope to get this build started fairly quick because I will be working the entire month of march.

might be a silly question but i read where the firebox opening needs to be 1/3 of the CC so on my 30" tank i need to make my cut at 10" correct ? id hate to screw that part up right off the bat.

Just remember to NOT cut out your door FULLY, so it breaks loose from the body,  till AFTER you weld on the hinges.   Marc
