Hello, my name is Logan. I work in the mining industry in northern Canada as a Blaster.

Iv been into making craft beer and wine for a long time and now starting to get into making jerky as a hobbie. I first started off using a a dehydrator but have been getting better results using my oven.

I don't really know to many people that make jerky,(although everyone love to eat it up once you've made it) so I'm happy to be a part of something where I can get advice and learn new techniques and because better at this!

Welcome
I've only made jerky once. I used Alton Browns recipe but changed how I dried/smoked it. It turned out delicious.
There is a ton of great info here
Good luck and enjoy

I had an Anderson great uncle who went there ca. 1920s & early 1930s and struck gold on his claim.  He did very well and built a large building in either Dawson or White Horse - can't recall which one - but it was referred to as the Anderson Building.  It's probably long gone by now.
