Long time griller, first time smoker......
I live in sunny southern California, and my wife got me a Masterbuilt charcoal smoker for our 25th.
I posted in the charcoal forums, but after two attempts, and then reading here (and elsewhere) about TBS, I realized I'm way over smoking with white billowing smoke (WBS).
How do I best acheive TBS with Traeger pellets? How much charcoal, how many pellets, do I put the pellets in the tray above the charcoal or directly on the charcoal or both?
