I'm consider myself a novice in BBQ and love doing so because it's fun, usually taste great, and a great way to visit with others. I live in southern Illinois and close enough to Memphis make a regular trip to Memphis for the championship BBQ Competition. I came across this forum surfing the interest looking for suggestion on whether to build a 275 gallon fuel tank horizontal or vertical.. Looking at the pros and cons of both. I'm a fan of XL Green Eggs (Got chicken breast on tonight as I type this), reverse offset cookers, and love my UDS smokers. I use the ugly drums to cook on road trips.
