Happy Stinking Monday from Palmdale California. I’ve been lurking for a few months now. I really enjoy the forum, lot of talent and knowledge here. I decided to try my hand at building a reverse flow smoker last month. Originally I was going to use a 55 gal drum but decided against that and used 3/16” X 8” plate to create a 9 sided CC (about 24” X 36”). Lots of welding, the CC lots like Frankenstein with all the welded joints. I haven’t started the FB yet but will soon.

This past week end I welded some legs on the CC. Tonight after work, if I have time I’m going to use a cherry picker to stand her up for the first time.

Sorry I don’t have any pics. Now that I’m a member I’ll take some and post them.

Right now I’m looking for wheels. I'd like to do wagon wheels on the heavy end and casters on the other end. So if you have any suggestions on where to get the steel wagon wheels please let me know. I have a feeling I may not find any I can afford and might have to use some smaller casters from the local welding supply joint on all 4 corners.

Thanks for reading.

Good morning and welcome to the forum, from a windy but nice day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.
