I made some things kind of like abt's yesterday with deer. I took strips of bacon, cut them in half, spread a thin layer of chive flavored cream cheese on the bacon, diced some jalapeños and put some on the bacon and cream cheese, then put one piece of deer meat in and rolled it up. I used some stew meat I had cubed up. Threw on some run of your choice and smoked for about 2 hours. Cream cheese goes great with deer. Really brings out the flavor
