Brinkmann Trailmaster Horizontal Baffle Plate (Heat Deflector Tuning)

Was wondering if anyone has tried this baffle and how well it works. I made my own Baffle and tuning plates and still find myself chasing temps and running 50 degrees higher on firebox side. The mods I have done are added a few new temp gauges grate level, door gaskets with clamps, high temp caulking around firebox, and a charcoal basket.
