Hello Everyone,

Just dropping a quick line as I'm new to the forum and new to smoking. Just picked up a Brinkmann Trailmaster LE offset smoker and so far have 2 cook's on it. Going to be looking at this site for tips and tricks to perfect the craft. Any tips on smoking in cold weather? I live in Chicago and we are only a few weeks away from having that thermometer drop.

Jsmoke23, welcome to SMF!  Glad you are here and looking forward to putting that new BM to work before the weather turns cold.  No reason to stop then but I certainly understand having stepped out of O'Hare into -9F weather once upon a time.

Have fun!

Noboundaries - Thank you.  I will definitely see how far into the cold I can continue to make use of the BM.

Good evening and welcome to the forum, from a nice day in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.
