Hello, my name is Lloyd and I just joined the forum. Strangely enough this is the first "smoking forum" I've joined at this point. There is a plethora of information here and the members seem very willing and able to assist in a friendly manner and that's one thing that caught my attention.
Hopefully, I can bring some added value to the forum as well and not just take from the vast knowledge here. I may have chosen a better username, however it become second nature to use this one....sorry if it's offensive.
Anyway, I'm about to embark on a custom smoker build and may ask a few question from time to time concerning this matter. The Weber Smoky Mountain 22.5" is what's used now and looking to go way bigger. Been smoking meat since I was 7 years old and love the smell of hickory wood burning (even without meat cooking). As time goes along and you get to know me, if I can be of some assistance, please don't hesitate to shoot me a message, I'll do what I can.
