Hello everyone! I am located in northern Wisconsin during the summer, and spend my winters in southwest Florida. Yes I'm one of those snowbirds that clogs the SoFlo roads in the winter. I took up smoking as a hobby a few years ago when I purchased a Masterbuilt 30" first generation electric smoker, that I still use. In fact I just purchased a second one to keep in my Florida home - they're a little hard to transport back and forth in an SUV and I don't think my wife would be able to take the smell. Me on the other hand - I'd love it! I also have a 22.5" Weber kettle that I use.
I have been lurking on these forums for quite some time and have picked up numerous tips and recipes thanks to you all. This has made me a LOT more successful in my smokes. I'm hoping that I will have something to offer you all in the future!
