Anyone using a Thermoworks DOT?

I don't have a digital thermometer you leave in while smoking and was reading about the DOT.  I love the Thermopop and I like how simple the DOT is.  For just a little more money I could get a Maverick which seems to be popular here, but is more complicated.  Any first hand accounts with the DOT?
