Building a uds what would be the best way to build the fire box cylinder or cube?

Use a grate smaller than the drum and roll expanded steel around it. I used rebar wire to hold the charcoal basket together that I made for my mini. Pretty simple.

I was going to make it entirely out of expanded metal.
