Good evening. A good buddy began smoking meats a few years ago and has been bringing over samples to to get me and the wife hooked for some time now. The end result was an Smoking It electric smoker from my wife as a birthday present last summer.
So far I've done ribs, roast, salmon, chicken, meat loaf, and even cold smoked some cheese and nuts. I've come here on his recommendation to learn, to share one day when there is something that I think others might like as my skills build, and to kick tires so to speak with other like minded folks.
The Komodo Joe and the Green Eggs have me thinking that I'd like to go that route one day and I hope to learn if these are good choices or if they are more trouble than they are worth for long term use.
