What type of smoker is good for around $400ish

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...


What do you want to use for fuel? How many people will you be cooking for? What

temps do you want to be able to achieve? Will you want to cold smoke? Do you want

set it and forget it or hands on? Spend sometime reading the reviews.

It depends on what way you want to go, again  do you want a Gas type, Electric Type, or wood and charcoal type ?  Size, how many people will you smoking for, Lots of thing to consider,  Do some research  on all of these and see which best fits your needs

As far as size big enough for 8ish people. I wanTed wood or pellet or charcoal or maybe electric. Afraid of gas because don't want propane still in same boat. Been looking at a lot. Lol

Take a look at the WSM for charcoal and the MES 40 with a AMNPS for electric.
