Smoked with mixed fruitwood at 225* for 2 hrs 45 min in a MES30. It turned out nice and juicy and tender. The only thing is the outside didn't get a crunchy bark it stayed soft. Should I have used a higher heat or what ? Smoked to 149* IT.

Glad it tasted good. Yes you need to kick the heat up to 275° You still won't get a bark like you do on a butt.
