Hello from Ontario, Canada

Thread Starter

Hi Everyone,

Glad that I found this forum, I just signed up and have been doing a little browsing. I have always wanted to get into smoking and I have decided to make the plunge. I do not have a smoker yet, but my wife gave me $300 to put towards one for Christmas. So far it seems that a quite a few people like the Masterbuilt, this may be of interest to me, I am looking to get an electric model. As I am totally new to this method I am open to suggestions. I hunt and fish so I will be looking into methods for doing venison, wild turkey and fish, as well as beef, pork and chicken.

I look forward to learning from all of your experiences, and sharing when I can contribute.

Welcome to SMF. Glad to see someone from another cold tundra area. You might want to consider the Weber Smokey Mountain. The're very popular and pretty easy to use. Happy Smoking !
