Since this is basically a smoking forum and there is not a spot for Crock Pot Cooking I figured I would post this here, these are just too easy not to try.

  • Sweet Onions.

  • Crosshatched pork

  • Peaches and syrup.

  • A few pinches of mustard powder.

  • Pineapple and Habanero Sauce

  • A tablespoon of my Philly Style Rub.

  • After several hours, the onions are removed chopped and placed back into the crock pot, this is optional, you can toss them if you like.

  • A cup of liquid is removed, strained and made into a sweet and sour sauce of sorts by adding sugar and bringing to a boil then simmer for 10 minutes. You can tweak this by adding vinegar and/or more fruit.

  • Pork is shredded and allowed to cool slightly to reabsorb some of the liquid.

  • Served on Rice with sweet and Sour sauce.

  • Ready to be frozen to be vacuum sealed later.

  • Removed from the freezer.

  • Double Sealed, Labeled and ready for the freezer.

  • Stacks nicely in the freezer, I like square sealed foods these can be stacked neatly in the corner of my chest freezer. I made the bags a few extra inches long so I can snip off the seal remove the product snap off a piece, place unused portion back in the bag and reseal. These are portioned for 5-6 people.

Where does one find Roasted Pineapple and Habanero Sauce?  And that does look good.

Sams club.
I'm gonna make my own down the road $7 a bottle is high but it is fantastic

Costco carries that sauce also. I use it on grilled wings also
