WOW an open face fattie!!! Looks YUMMY to me. Now all that is needed is to figure out how to get the bacon to hold that taco shape untill it gets crispy???

I'm thinking they probably used a taco rack and dropped it in the deep fryer to quickly take shape.

I can't use a napkin holder. The wife has laid down the law!! Cooking Utencils are for COOKINg!! Anything else is used for what it was designed for. This law was enacted when she found me using her hair dryer to help speed the drying of jerky. I quess she is kinda narrow minded that way!!LOL

You know how bacon is soft and limp when you finish frying it then it hardens as it cools down...I guess if you move fast and mold the hot bacon over a taco shell this shape could be achieved.

Here's out homemade version. Haven't done bacon on it but we have done taco shells out of tortillas.

Yep It is just like I tell the new people in Roll Call, if you are looking to learn how to BBQ/smoke/brine/cure/inject. Well you get the picture if you can do it to to something you put on a plate to eat then someone here has probably done it.
