Can I cold smoke hotdogs?

I don't know if they have cure in them.

My butcher makes them for me.

Probably, but you'd have to ask the butcher to be certain.

I have been told cold smoke for 2 hours and I should be OK.

I was thinking cold smoke the into crock pot with some krawt.

Oh I will try it. The wife threw the dogs in tonight.I wanted her to wait. Oh well

C Farmer did you ever smoke your hotdogs? If so how did they turn out? I'm planning on making my own from scratch for my kids but want to know how they turned out after being smoked.
