What's a good cover for UDS

Just built a new UDS and want to protect this one as much as possible this time. What is a good cover that goes all the way down the barrel with a weber dome lid on top?

Might be a little short but you could use a weber kettle cover, or you might find a patio type grill cover that may work.

Thanks, I got two cheap ones.  Cut the top out of one and turned it upside down so it would cover the bottom part of the drum and then used the other one to cover the top and rest.  Doubt those cheap ones are going to hold up for long though.   If this works, I'll just invest in some good ones.

I haven't actually done this yet, but will someday...

I use an upside-down Weber kettle (NOT its lid) for my UDS lid, so it's basically a hemisphere.  There are beach ball patterns on the 'net, including some that are calculators (you plug in diameter, no. of panels, seam width, etc. & it spits out measurements).  I'm keeping my UDS in the garage until I get a decent cover -- but I'll eventually cut out the pieces (a rectangle for the body & 8-10 curved segments for the rounded top) from appropriate material & have an upholstery shop sew them together.

I'll post pictures then.

I look forward to seeing your cover. It sounds like it should work fine.

Happy smoken.
