Hello everyone, I'm Taylor from Troy, AL. I'm new to smoking, but from what I have smoked so far I'm addicted to it. I got a cheap offset smoker to see how i would like smoking, so I am planning on getting a better smoker soon. I have really enjoyed this site for a few weeks now so I decided to join.

Hello Taylor, a big welcome from East Texas. Take your time on upgrading to a better smoker. Get to know yours and perfect your smokes, rubs , sauces etc. Look around, go to some BBQ cook offs and that way you will have a better feel for what best suits your needs. I started and smoked on an El-Cheep-O-Brinkman for years, and turned out some great BBQ. I still have an ECB with mods that I get out every once in a while. It's not the smoker but the person doing the smoking.
