3lb rack of pork using Stubbs pork rub for the first time marinated it for a couple hours while building the fire (oak and pecan) because it what I have. Here it is on the ole char broil.

Nothing wrong with oak and pecan,  use if for everyone of my smokes

I use pecan for pretty much everything I smoke, but I really like apple, or peach with pork. Sure it will be great.

I love pecan and that roast looks very familiar. OMG you are going to love it. 3lbs.? Do you have to share? LOL

And why waste the oak, nothing wrong with pecan with pecan......You'll empty the Red Raider Club all headed to your place.
