After reading some stuff here I modified a smoker from Lowes

And am trying some catfish

I tried to smoke a chicken before I did the vents on the bottom and top and added the raised charcoal grate but it didn't turn out very well. (Plus it was the first chicken I ever butchered and I scalded it to long. Skined and plucked it at the same time)

Hope to learn from you experts and eat well along the way,

Here's a better way to post pics :http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/a/how-to-upload-a-photo-q-view-to-your-post

It's easier off the Computer , Photo Bucket ... I don't use anymore as it has changed and it's hard to post from there on my Computer.

Have fun here and . . .

)  Seams to me differnt forums use different pic posting methods.  The Chicken forum I am on doesn't like photobucket but the shooting/firearms and ACVW forums do.  That catfish is tasting good so far, but not quite done.  I will try to get a pic when it is done.

I want to try some eggs, but it seams the farm fresh ones have to age a couple weeks to get them to peel right and I refuse to buy store eggs for fear my hens will go on strike.  Also looking forward to trying to smoke some peppers as they come on in the garden.  Plus hunting season will be here before we know it.
