I've been lurking here on SMF for a year or two now as SMF is such an incredible source of friendly, and delicious information.
About me: I live in the western burbs of Minneapolis, I'm a life long cook, Father of 2 teens, cyclist , business owner and I've been smoking meats for a couple of years now. I use an MES 30 at the moment, it's my first but I know it won't be my last smoker. I've done a lot in it already and in no small part it is due to all the great advice and recipes I've gleaned from SMF.
