That is great. I will take a pound or two of peeled cloves and cover them buy half with Olive Oil then roast until soft and golden brown. We like them mashed with real Parm' Reggiano and some Red Pepper Flakes spread on on some crusty bread. Add some Cheese, Olives, some Prosciutto and a bottle of Wine and life is good...JJ

Thanks folks!!!

The garlic was a big success here..

Dave has been great with the how to grow garlic tutorial..

He also proved to be a heck of guy by not busting me out here for planting them upside down...hahahahahhahahaha

He said the picture with the stems doing a 180 was the giveaway..
If it's as good as it looks, I'd eat the plate it on too.........How long does it take to grow garlic ?
I didnt keep a record of the planting time...

Dave said put them in when it gets cold here..

I looked at IMs exchanged about it ..

Best guess is they went in early or mid Nov..

So that means right around 6 months..

I can understand why your better half swooned. That looks delicious. Thanks so much for the great idea.

They look wondeful.  Can almost smell them.  I've done similar with onions and added garlic powder and cooked in foil over the grill.

I have to give this one a try.  Thank you.
