Hey all.  I have been wanting to get a smoker for a long time.  Well last weekend I just happened to visit the local Goodwill and they had a propane Smoke Hollow (large unit on wheels, about hip high) for $99.00.  So I grabbed it.  I went to Home Depot today and picked up a new propane tank and a bag of Apple and Cherry wood chips.  Then off to the store a got a 5 lb. pork shoulder (figured for my first smoke, it was cheap and should be tasty).  My problem is finding recipes.  Anyway, any suggestions would be appreciated.  Would like to fire this tomorrow morning and have it for dinner.

thanks

Jeff

Thanks everyone.  Well, I am off...  Port shoulder is in, I took some pictures and will post them in the smoked pork thread I also started yesterday.  My wife has been sitting next to the smoker this morning for a hour because "it smells so good" is what she said.  Oh yea, I have a good one.

Here is the pork shoulder, rubbed it with some Lawry's, covered it and put it in the fridge overnight.

Here is the shoulder in the smoker.  I am using apple chips I bought at Home Depot and for my first time, just using water.  I made a 50/50 mix of apple juice and coconut rum and put it in a spray bottle.  I am spritzing every hour.

Here is my BBQ quiver.  To the left, my charcoal unit that was in the back yard when I bougth my house, works wonderful.  Middle my new Authentic Smoke Hollow, and to the right, my fathers day present from my wife which gets a lot of use (or should I say, used to get a lot of use...)
