Hello Smokers,

My name is Tom Rhodes and I live in Portage, Indiana.  My wife bought me a Brinkman electric smoker last August.  I have always wanted to learn to smoke meats and barbecue.  Now I can with the help of your site.  I have just started smoking a few things like, a butt and some pork spare ribs and chicken.  The butt came out great, but the ribs and the chicken did not.  No worries, I have found you forum and I feel more confident now that I will learn the art of smoking.
